Important Things for November

We interrupt this stream of gift ideas for a couple of important announcements:

1) Yarn Tasting
We had a wonderful spring/summer tasting, and now we're having an autumn/winter tasting!  It's $30 to attend, there will be wonderful food, wine, and a variety of yarns to try, along with some great project ideas to go with each yarn.  Bring a variety of needles and/or hooks to try a few rows of each yarn.  Space is limited to 20 people, so please reserve a place as soon as possible.  Call the shop or stop by to RSVP (we're still working on that crazy online registration to get it fixed.)

2) 2nd Saturday
As we've stated before, you can shop at lots of great places all along Douglas and get good deals, if you've got a $5 tote bag, and if you bring said tote bag into participating merchants along Douglas on the 2nd Saturday of every month.  To see which merchants are having which deals, check the Facebook page.  (Be sure to click, "2nd Saturday + Others" on the feed to see everything.)  If you'd like a list of merchants to print and carry along with you, here's a pdf to download.

This month, we're featuring 25% off all DK and laceweight yarns (excluding Cascade 220 Sport.)  We have tote bags available now!
