Gift Ideas, Day Eleven

Local Design!

This little shoulder shawl was a quick knit for me.  And you know it was quick if I finished it. (I start far more projects than I ever finish, you know.)  I used Lonco, a kettle-dyed, mercerized cotton from Araucania.  It's one of my very favorite yarns, and I just love the way it drapes.  Plus, it was designed by Kiersten Brandt, one of a bevy of talented local designers.  It's called Catenary.  We have the pattern available in the shop, and you can also see the project page on Ravelry here.
