What we got out of the boxes today.

Viking Balder - a chunky, SOFT, merino wool that's - wait for it - superwash!  You'll love it.  It's a self-striping yarn that will be perfect for hats and scarves.

In fact, look what I got done between last night and this afternoon!  About 50 more stitches and a couple tassels, and I'll have a hat!  It's $11 a 100g/137 yd skein.  This hat is taking just over one ball.  There's plenty in one skein to make a hat w/o ear flaps.
Here's my hat.  Almost done!
My hat pattern ($4)
All the colors (8 total)
This is the pattern book for the yarn - kids' hats, scarves, vests, and jumpers.

Also, Fame Trend has 5 new colors.  This is the same yarn as Universal's Poems sock yarn.  Really wonderful, long, gradual color changes.  We have a pattern for two different, cute, small, triangle shawls.

I miss your wonderful shop. Found a "yarn shop" in Corpus Christi, but it's not near as good as yours. However, I did find a yarn that's 70% bamboo and 30% silk. It's Patons Silk Bamboo. It's becoming a beautiful and soft baby blanket! Thought if you haven't used it, you might like to check it out. patonsyarns.com
